What buyers say
+What people like
- The sheer knit reads as ordinary dress hosiery, so wearers feel fine leaving their ankles on show.
- Many wearers find them comfortable for a full day once they are on.
- The thin knit feels lighter and less hot or itchy to several wearers than thicker compression socks.
- People who wear the SoftFit version say its softer top band stays up with less binding below the knee.
- Many long-time wearers say they keep returning to JOBST after trying other brands.
−Common complaints
- Getting them on and off is a struggle for many wearers.
- Many buyers found them tighter or smaller than expected, sometimes even in the size they normally buy.
- Length is hit or miss: some say the top reaches the knee crease or kneecap, while others find them short.
- On some legs the top band slides or rolls down, or leaves a deep mark below the knee.
!Buying tips
- Measure your ankle, calf and leg length in the morning and use the JOBST size chart; if the regular length reaches your kneecap, look at the Petite length.
- Rubber gloves or a donning aid can make them easier to pull on.
- Compression hosiery is often final sale once opened, so double-check your size and compression level before you order.
